The last Shanghai Tube Expo in 2008 attracted 18,163 trade visitors from 82 countries and regions during the 3-day show, among which 2,106 were from overseas. A total exhibiting area of 12,000 sqm, 544 standard booths, 302 exhibitors. Shanghai Tube Expo 2009 will be held on May 5—7, 2009 at Shanghai International Exhibition Center (INTEX Shanghai), Shanghai – China. There will be more than 10,000 sponsors and organizers to invite trade visitors all over the world, to visit the show. The event will boost a total exhibition area of over 30,000 square meters and attract more than 500 exhibitors from all around the world. Following the six very successful previous shows the ITA looks forward to the next Moscow show that takes place at the Krasnaya Presnya Expocentr from 12 to 15 May 2009. Held in conjunction with Metallurgy-Litmash and Aluminium/Non-Ferrous 2009 this year’s show is certain to attract record numbers of exhibitors and visitors. Such interest clearly illustrates the dynamic nature of the booming Russian economy. The tube exhibition is also well supported by the important Ukrainian tube industry and the recent change of leadership there could lead to enhanced economic activity in the Ukraine making this year’s Tube Russia show even more timely.
